Director of Recuperate Health
Meet Sam
Samuel brings a rare combination of clinical depth and whole-person care to every consultation. With a Master of Integrative Medicine, a Bachelor of Health Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy, and dual fellowships (FASLM, FAIHM), Sam has spent his career bridging the gap between elite sports medicine and everyday health — helping people move better, recover faster, and feel more like themselves.
Rooted in an evidence-based integrative approach, Sam works with patients on everything from complex musculoskeletal pain and injury rehabilitation to lifestyle medicine, stress resilience, and long-term wellbeing. He also offers access to some of the most advanced therapeutic technologies available, including photobiomodulation (red light therapy), shockwave therapy, electro dry needling, vagus nerve stimulation, and brainspotting — tools that are rarely found under one roof, let alone in the hands of a single practitioner.
Whether you're dealing with a persistent injury, navigating burnout, or simply looking to optimise how you feel and function, Sam takes the time to understand the full picture before mapping out a personalised plan.

CLINICAL FOCUS
Sam’s Approach
A lot of the time when patients present with issues and there is no direct mechanism of injury, it can be traced back to the spine and its interaction on neurovascular and neuromuscular structures. Sam's approach combines deep structural assessment with systemic, whole-body analysis.
Sam is one of very few practitioners who uses non-invasive transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation — a modern medicine technique for treating depression, anxiety, neuroplasticity, inflammatory disorders, irregular heartbeats, memory dysfunction, PTSD, reflux and much more.
He is also one of very few experts in his field trained in Photobiomodulation (PBMt) — an exciting field of modern medicine that regenerates tissue and can be applied to the brain for mood disorders and traumatic brain injuries. This laser technology is also being utilised by USA Olympic teams.
